Cintli by Beto Yarce, a Seattle-based Jewelry and Mexican Décor boutique, will
celebrate their Grand Reopening March 19th-21st in a new and improved Pike Place market location.

Despite the economic downturn, Cintli has managed to expand the business by providing customers with beautiful jewelry and timeless home décor. In 2003, Beto Yarce, owner and head designer for Cintli, opened the first U.S. store in Seattle’s world renowned Pike Place Market. His dream was to present his unrivaled jewelry collections to a new audience and was humbled by the warm response it received from clients. Beto currently designs all of the pieces sold in the store.
"This recession has been tough in many small businesses like ours, but we are extremely excited about our expanded location in Pike Place Market," says Mr. Yarce, "In many ways this symbolizes the strong foundation our business has established, and it confirms our commitment to Cintli’s loyal customers.”
Since opening, Cintli has implemented innovative and meaningful initiatives to stay afloat despite the economic downturn. Initiatives include allowing local artists to exhibit and sell their artwork at Cintli, and implementing waste reduction and environmental-friendly techniques in all jewelry collections carried in the store. “It is important to me as an artist and a businessperson to create solutions to obstacles in our community and our planet,” says Mr. Yarce, “I also want Cintli to be a resource for local artists to showcase their work.”

What happened from November to March??? Life! That is what happen, ha! I started taking a business class in the middle of all this 'life' and it has been tremendously helpful! All of the sudden I'm taking my service to a whole new level. Getting seriously serious with by business has been eye opening to say the least. Connecting buyers with the local designers they can't find is what I do!! I do it well and enjoy every minute of it. I love all of my designers! I love all of my buyers! Ha!! I like to take care of people and make sure I'm helping to spread beautiful creations made by beautiful people all over the world....starting in Seattle.

I'm looking forward to Spring and Summer 2010!! New shows, new designs and new ideas all at work! Enjoy life with me this summer!

I'm so happy to announce the new love of my life. My baby girl, Eva Lauren Hildebrandt. Born August 25. She is so sweet, lovely and cuddly. I can't help but share this wonderful gift. She is now a week old. Our little family; Mommy, Daddy, Baby and doggy are doing very well at home. Welcome sweet Eva!

She may make a guest appearance at the next SWAG show on the 9th and 10th.

It's really amazing the variety that so many of our local savvy entrepreneurs offer all the fashionistas around town. Seriously, what would we be wearing with out them? If I could choose one designer to wear out today it would be Karazi. The stones laying against my neckline always make me feel peaceful and beautiful. It's as if they help to open up my chest to breath in the crisp ocean rain air. As the sun starts to come back around, the rays reflect off the natural faucets in the stone. It's definitely a grounding, Karazi kind of day.

Megan Leone's has incredible vision and purpose in her designs. This is just one reason why I love her and what she does so much. She truly does created fashionable and functional accessories the are "recycled and reimagined" by using vintage and recycled materials. The most fashion forward are her hand made Bracelet Purses. All are one of a kind with reinforced interfacing and double stitching. These made a huge impression on buyers this past SWAG show. I have first hand experience selling these in a retail setting after being a store manager for quite some time where we carried Megan Leone. They make the perfect gift for the girl who has everything. These are different, one of a kind and have dual functionality which is my favorite part! The bangles snap off so they can be worn by themselves. Don't think that you can't swap out the bangle for one of your own too! Especially there is the urge to coordinate oh so perfectly.
