Three Local Boutiques of the Summer

How many truly incredibly run boutiques are there in the Seattle area anyway? A ton! It's really amazing the variety that so many of our local savvy entrepreneurs offer all the fashionistas around town. Seriously, what would we be wearing with out them? Good thing there are just as many local artists and indie-designers out there. Here are three of my favorite boutiques of the summer. And, no, it's not just because they carry seva sustainable concept designers but it helps.

There are many more reasons..............

Retail Therapy located on E Pike has been up and running since April 2003! Congrats to Wazhma, the owner, and her crew! Wazhma is dedicated to her community, customers and her goals. While housing some of the latest and unique trends in fashion she supports local designers, such as Cintli, Fine Mexican Jewelry, and provides a global perspective to our oh so sophisticated city full of shopping divas. At the same time R T brings it all back down to earth by celebrating women as well as men and their own artist inside. Be sure to contact Retail Therapy about artist, girls nights and shopping sales.

Queen Anne Postal Dispatch is located on top of Queen Anne. This store has been part of the Queen Anne neighborhood since forever! It's a pivotal part of everyday existence up there because it provides a variety of services and captures copious retail niches. It's your one stop shop for Friday night fashion finds, jewelry, shoes, bags, accessories, lingerie, work out clothing, baby gifts, house wears, paper goods, gifts and Yes, even stamps, boxes, UPS and USPS services! Sabrina and Tara, are sisters who work together with their crew to successfully provide the latest and greatest products and services. This includes supporting local artists and indie-designers such as cp jewelry design from Seattle, Megan Leone from New York, Divine Design from Portland and Crystalyn Kae from Seattle. Don't miss their next artist event coming up on September 17th during the Queen Anne Art Walk.

Show Pony is located in Fremont on N 34th. Julie, owner and buyer extraordinaire does an excellent job scooping out some of the most sought after accessories around. Not only does she support local artisan designers like Divine Design and indie-designers like Megan Leone from New York. she knows quality accessories when she sees them like Stella & Dot, a line created by two ex. Anthropology designers. Show Pony writes a great blog that is simple and up to date......just my style. I never want to miss out! Be sure to check out her new fall looks and some goodies left over from the Show Pony summer sale!

Special thanks to these boutiques and their owners for supporting seva sustainable concepts, and it's designers!
